The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Burundi in collaboration with the Burundi Federal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, PUM and SPARK organized on April 19, 2013 at Club du Lac Tanganyika Hotel a workshop under the theme “The Netherlands Kingdom at the Service of the Private Sector”.
That important symposium was an opportunity for Burundian business men and women to discuss on different cooperation instruments regarding the private sector, of which some are already operational in BURUNDI notably PSI project funds, PUM technical assistance, SPARK projects and much more.
Among the speakers on that occasion was the Burundi Investment Promotion Agency CEO, Mr. Antoine KABURA who made a presentation within the framework of promoting investments in BURUNDI. “It has become rather smoother for investors to create a business at the One-Stop-Shop within the Burundi Investment Agency premises” said API CEO, who emphasized on incentives and support efforts intended for operational investors. Success stories followed thereafter.
